Creating A Gourmet Chocolate Fountain For Your Wedding

There is nothing better than going to a wedding and finding there is a chocolate fondue fountain! Besides, one of the best things about weddings are usually the free food and drinks, provided they are using a great venue or caterer.

There are a few things you will need to pull off a great chocolate fountain.

First, you will need a really good chocolate. Choose a nice smooth milk chocolate or a rich and deep dark chocolate, depending on the other foods you have chosen as well as your drinks. TYou will find the food and drinks will compliment your chocolate fountain, if chosen wisely. You can ask your venue or caterer to suggest a specific chocolate that will compliment your other foods.

The next thing you will need are the items you will be dipping and covering in the chocolate sauce. Fruit is the first thing that comes to mind because it pairs well with chocolate. Consider at what time of year your wedding is taking place to choose what fruits are in season and available. For example, if you’re having a summer wedding, definitely go with some strawberries, apples, and banans are always a good choice. However, if you’re having a fall wedding, pears and apples really do the trick.

There are lots of extras to go along with your chocolate fondue. You can feel free to use marshmallows, many different kinds of cookies, candies, and pretzels. These are all delicious and sure to make an impact on all your guests.

So remember when you are planning your wedding snacks foods, don’t leave out the fondue…your guests will love you for it!
